Jason & Philip
We are so grateful you're considering adoption and taking the time to learn about our family. Adoption has been the most incredible gift, and we feel so lucky to be parents to our daughter, Abigail. We are excited to grow our family and share our love, support, and laughter with another child. It would be an honor and privilege to welcome your child into our home and hearts.
Adoption in Our Lives

We adopted our daughter, Abigail, as a newborn in 2023. She is the biggest joy in our lives. She is the poster child of what it means to be a rambunctious, happy, and curious toddler. We've learned that she loves the playground, where she loves to climb, slide, and swing. She's also quite the fan of bath time, mostly so she can play in the bubbles and splash her dads. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are favorites in our household, and her favorite animal is a dinosaur. It's not uncommon to hear her "rawr"-ing from the other room. She loves to help Jason bake and Philip cheer on his favorite sports teams.
Adopting our daughter has been the most life-changing and rewarding experience of our lives. From the first time we held her, we were overwhelmed with love, and that feeling has only grown stronger with each passing day. Parenthood has brought us so much joy, and we've cherished every moment—whether it's watching her curiosity bloom as she explores the world around her, hearing her infectious laugh during silly games, or experiencing the everyday joy of bedtime stories and family adventures.
Adoption has taught us the true meaning of unconditional love and the incredible strength of the bond we've built as a family. It's also given us a deeper appreciation for the courage and love that birth parents show when choosing adoption. We feel so lucky to be parents to our daughter and are excited to grow our family through adoption once again. Our hearts and home are ready to welcome another child with the same love, support, and sense of belonging that our daughter has brought into our lives.
Our Passions

Jason loves being outdoors and spending time admiring nature. Growing up on a farm, he spent a lot of time outside around animals and walking through his family's fields and woods. During many summers his family traveled to Wyoming, where his mom was raised, and visited Yellowstone National Park to see the mountains, geysers, waterfalls, buffalo, and other natural wonders. He has a love of camping and hiking and wherever he goes he tries to find interesting trails and parks to explore. He also enjoys taking care of the yard at home, adding new plants each season and growing tomatoes, peppers, basil and other vegetables and herbs.

Philip is what you might call a sports fanatic - especially when it comes to the University of Arizona Wildcats. In college, he worked in the University of Arizona's athletics department helping out with media relations and event management for many of the school's sports teams. Now out of college, he tries to catch as many games on television as he can. Philip is also an avid runner, having completed five marathons and loves exploring the nearby running trails. He is very excited about using the running stroller to bring his new child along on his running adventures around the neighborhood.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other
Philip loves how curious Jason is about the world around him. Jason has a natural love for learning, just like the rest of his family. Whether he's reading a book about history, watching a video to learn how to fix something around the house, or planning a new garden for the backyard, he's always eager to learn something new. And when he's not learning, he's probably planning their next camping or hiking adventure. Philip has loved watching Jason share these interests with their daughter—teaching her about nature, exploring new places together, and making everyday moments fun. He can't wait to see Jason share these experiences with another child.
Jason admires Philip for his big heart and the way he cares for others. He sees it every day in the way Philip connects with their daughter—whether he's making up silly games to make brushing teeth more fun or planning weekend trips to the mountains. Philip is always thinking about how to help their daughter grow up happy, healthy, and confident. Jason also loves Philip's excitement for sports. Whether it's football, tennis, or softball, Philip is always the loudest cheerleader. Jason knows Philip will bring that same energy and support to another child, encouraging them in whatever they love to do.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in a suburb of Denver, Colorado. Our home is located in a very friendly and active neighborhood with lots of families and school-aged children. Our neighbors love decorating for all of the holidays and hosting fun community events for kids and families. We live right down the street from the local elementary school and community pool. We are also close to lots of trails and open space and just a short drive into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. There are several nearby parks with playgrounds, community centers, and libraries.
Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, a large family room, and a finished basement where we enjoy movie nights and hanging out as a family. We have a big enclosed grassy backyard with trees and flowers that provide a perfect place to run and play in addition to a garden to grow fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Our Extended Families

Spending time with our families is important to both of us. Jason's parents live in Missouri on the farm where he grew up. We usually spend Thanksgiving with them and Jason's sister. Philip's parents, sister and her family live in Arizona, and we typically travel there to celebrate Christmas every year. We also make a point to see our families at least a few more times each year for birthdays, anniversaries, or just to spend a few days catching up.

When we travel to Arizona we spend a lot of time with our three nephews. We'll play catch, go swimming, or take a hike. At Christmas, they love to help with the cooking and always seem to be close by when Jason makes his famous cinnamon rolls.
When we go to Missouri we spend a lot of time on the farm with Jason's parents. The farm is very quiet and the perfect place to relax for a few days. We love taking walks through the fields, going for a drive down to the lake, and just enjoying the wide open spaces.
We love taking Abby to spend time with her grandparents, aunts, and cousins.
From Us to You

Thank you for considering adoption for your child and for taking the time to learn about our family. We can only imagine how many emotions you are experiencing right now, and we have so much respect for your strength, love, and courage in making this decision.
We are Jason and Philip, and we are incredibly excited to grow our family through adoption once again. Adoption has already changed our lives in the most beautiful way—we became parents to our amazing daughter, Abigail, through adoption in 2023. Every day with her has been filled with love, laughter, and new adventures, and we cannot wait to welcome another child into our home. We've always known that adoption was the right path for us, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to embark on this journey again.
A little about us—we have been together since 2008 and married since 2020. We met in Denver, Colorado, and while we have lived in Washington, D.C., and New Mexico, Colorado has always felt like home. We have worked hard to build a strong, loving partnership based on trust, support, and a shared sense of adventure.
Family means everything to us, and our loved ones are just as excited as we are about welcoming another child. Jason's parents are in Missouri, and his sister lives in New Mexico. Philip's parents, sister, brother-in-law, and three nephews are in Arizona. They adore Abigail and cannot wait to shower another child with love, laughter, and support.
As parents, we are committed to creating a home filled with warmth, encouragement, and opportunity. We love spending time outdoors—running, hiking, camping, and exploring new places—and look forward to sharing these experiences as a family of four. We also love baking together, going on family walks in our neighborhood, and making holiday traditions that bring everyone together. Most of all, we promise to be our children's biggest cheerleaders, encouraging them to follow their passions, whether that be sports, music, art, or something entirely unexpected.
We also want our child to grow up with a strong sense of identity, knowing where they come from and understanding their adoption story in a way that makes them feel proud. We will always be open and honest, making sure adoption is a natural and celebrated part of their life. Just as we have done with Abigail, we will ensure our child knows how much love surrounds them—not just from us but from their birth family as well.
We also want our child to grow up knowing their biological roots and hope they can develop a relationship with their birth parents. We hope to be able to share special moments from our child's life with their birth parents through text messages and emails, phone calls, and occasional visits. We look forward to working with our child's birth parents to determine what is best for everyone.
Adoption is an incredible gift, and we are so honored to be on this journey again. No matter what decision you make, please know that we admire your love for your child and your courage in exploring adoption. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us—we would love the opportunity to learn more about you as well.
