Our Leisure Time

Phillies Game

We truly treasure our time because it gives us the chance to connect, explore and make memories! From sampling cuisines to embarking on thrilling adventures throughout North America and Europe we've developed a love for embracing new experiences. Whether we're indulging in the tantalizing spices of cuisine or relishing the flavors of Italian gelato our desire to try new foods reflects our eagerness to introduce our future child to a world full of diverse tastes and cultures.

We also enjoy immersing ourselves in the excitement of sports. Enthusiastically cheering at baseball games, rooting for our home football team, and even showing support for our ice city's ice hockey team are all great experiences. Our weekends often involve hikes with our two dogs fostering a genuine appreciation for nature and outdoor adventure.

We eagerly look forward to sharing these hobbies with our child, inviting them into a world filled with exploration, sportsmanship and community involvement. The gratification we feel from volunteering at food drives has been immensely rewarding for us. We envision involving our child in these activities so that they too can learn about empathy, kindness and giving back to their community. As sports fans we can hardly wait to witness their excitement as they cheer on their favorite players and teams! Creating traditions together and bonding over sports will be moments filled with joy and anticipation. Engaging in leisure activities goes beyond hobbies; they provide opportunities, for learning, fostering bonds and forging enduring connections, with our child!

Adoption in Our Lives

Taking a Break on the Chicago Riverwalk

Adoption has profoundly shaped both of our perspectives, guiding us to approach parenthood with a profound sense of empathy, understanding, and appreciation for the beautiful journey of adoption. Gregg's own adoption journey, welcomed into a family of Polish and Slovakian heritage from a foster home in the Philippines at 14 months old, has imbued him with a deep understanding of the complexities and joys of being adopted into a multicultural family. His upbringing, alongside an adopted sister, mirrors his own story—she was also adopted from the Philippines, fostering a bond that transcends blood ties.

These experiences serve as a guiding light for us, equipping us with invaluable insights and compassion as we embark on the journey of potentially adopting a child of a different culture. Our family tree boasts branches that span diverse cultures and backgrounds, further enriched by cousins adopted from Asia. This exposure within our extended family creates an environment where adoption is not just understood but embraced, providing a network of support and understanding for a child placed within our loving care. Our shared experiences and familial connections rooted in adoption lay a strong foundation, positioning us to navigate the complexities of cross-cultural adoption with sensitivity, respect, and an abundance of love.

Our Pups, Howie & Wally

Howie & Wally

Our pets, Howie and Wally, are an integral part of our lives, woven into the fabric of our family in the most beautiful way. Howie, our sweet 6-year-old Westie, embodies gentle companionship, always seeking affection and a cozy lap to nestle in. His shy nature melts away when he's showered with pets, and his presence brings a calming warmth to our home. On the other paw, Wally, our spirited 2-year-old Cairn terrier, is a bundle of boundless energy and exuberance. His love for children is unparalleled— at the mere sound of a child's laughter, his tail wags with such excitement that it seems he might take flight.

The bond we share with Howie and Wally extends beyond mere companionship; it's a connection that transcends words. They're attuned to our emotions, sensing our highs and lows with an uncanny intuition. There's a profound and mutual unconditional love that flows between us, enriching our lives in ways we couldn't imagine. Whether it's sharing morning walks, cozying up for movie nights, or simply being by our side through the ups and downs of life, the four of us are inseparable. It's heartwarming that our daily routines include our furry family members—they're not just pets; they're cherished members of our family, adding immeasurable joy and love to every aspect of our lives.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Home

Our neighborhood is a bustling community, filled with families that are growing and young children who bring life to the streets. It's a sight to see families taking walks pushing strollers with their little ones and being accompanied by their furry companions. We are fortunate to have parks, playgrounds and sports fields providing endless opportunities for outdoor fun. Every day brings adventures for children to discover and enjoy.

Our town has a sense of support and unity strengthened by events that bring us all together. From town celebrations that exude joy and merriment to the events organized by local parishes and schools we come together as one community. These occasions not only bond us, but allow us to create cherished memories for families. We especially enjoy attending the annual music festival!

Nestled in this welcoming community is our home—a sanctuary overflowing, with love and warmth. With three bedrooms, and spacious living areas there's plenty of room for a growing family. However it's our two story family room that truly captures the essence of our home. Filled with light as it sits atop a hillside it offers views of Pennsylvania's lush valleys, an even greater sight during Fall, when you can see all the color of the leaves changing! This is the place where we come together for game nights, family gatherings, movie marathons and fun moments, with our two adored dogs. Our home radiates a feeling of happiness and unity.

Our Extended Families

Ryan at a Phillies Game With His Family

Our extended family is like a tapestry woven with love, support and cherished traditions that reflect the richness of our lives. Ryan is blessed with four brothers and together they share a bond rooted in both family ties and their shared commitment to law enforcement. Nearly every other Sunday we come together at his parents' house for breakfast creating moments of laughter and togetherness that have become part of our routine. Recently we celebrated the arrival of Ryan's brother's son, an addition to our clan who fills us with joy and excitement about growing our family through adoption.

Gregg & His Nephew

Gregg's family may be smaller in size but is equally overflowing with love. His sister lives nearby and also recently welcomed a son into their lives. Family traditions thrive within their gatherings—each birthday is marked by a dinner out while Thanksgiving and Christmas are filled with the flavors of traditional Polish cuisine that have been passed down through generations. It's safe to say that food holds a place in our hearts!

Our circle extends beyond blood ties; we embrace friends as if they were family members themselves. We revel in shared games, quizzo nights filled with laughter, and friendly competition. They eagerly await the arrival of an addition to our family, prepared to envelop them with boundless love, affection and a lifetime of cherished memories and customs.

From Us to You

We humbly extend our deepest gratitude for considering us to be the prospective adoptive parents of your precious child! We understand that this decision is monumental, and we are honored to share why our home, filled with love, understanding, and support, would be an ideal environment for your child to flourish.

As a married couple of three years, our bond has strengthened through shared experiences, mutual respect, and a profound desire to nurture a family. Our journey has been a testament to our commitment, love, and readiness to embrace the joys and responsibilities of parenthood. We are excited for what is to come next!

One aspect that uniquely shapes our perspective on adoption is that one of us is an adoptee. We also both have extended family members who have been adopted. The experience of being adopted has profoundly impacted our lives, offering firsthand insight into the importance of love, acceptance, and the beautiful complexity of the adoption journey. This personal connection allows us to approach adoption with empathy, understanding, and a deep appreciation for the unique nature of each adoption story.

Our family values are rooted in love, compassion, and inclusivity. We believe that every child deserves a nurturing and supportive environment where they can thrive emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Our home is a haven of acceptance, where differences are celebrated, and individuality is encouraged. Education and personal growth are paramount in our household. We believe in providing a well-rounded educational experience that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. Your child will have access to diverse opportunities, from music and arts to sports and academic pursuits, empowering them to explore their passions and develop their talents.

Furthermore, we wholeheartedly embrace the concept of an open adoption and are committed to sending you letters and pictures of your child growing up! We deeply respect and honor your role as the birth mother. We understand the importance of maintaining a connection if you desire. We are committed to facilitating a relationship that feels comfortable and supportive for you, one that allows your child to understand and appreciate the love that surrounds them from all sides.

Our extended family and friends are eagerly awaiting the addition of a new member. Your child will not only be embraced by us but also by a loving and supportive network, ready to provide guidance, love, and laughter as they navigate life's journey.

Should you choose us, we promise to provide your child with a secure, nurturing, and loving environment. We will offer unwavering support, encouragement, and guidance as they grow and discover their place in the world. We understand the weight of your decision and want to assure you that if you entrust us with your child, they will be cherished, respected, and encouraged to embrace their heritage and individuality. We will create a home filled with love, laughter, and endless opportunities for your child to thrive and flourish.

Thank you for considering us as potential parents for your child. We are profoundly grateful for the opportunity and are eager to welcome your child into our hearts and home.
