We've always wanted to have a family, even before we met. We're very excited about becoming parents and feel fully prepared for the responsibility. Many of our close friends already have children, and being a part of their lives and watching them grow up has been incredibly special to us. We can only imagine the joy our future child or children will bring.

Monica: I am really looking forward to seeing our child grow up and become their own person. We will provide opportunities for them to find and pursue their interests, and I can't wait to see what those are.

Matt: A parent is responsible for providing a solid foundation in their child's life. This means guiding, supporting, and loving them as they explore the world around them. I look forward to experiencing my child's first steps, first words, and discoveries, and I'm excited to share in the joy of each new milestone. It's about cherishing the small moments, like dancing together in the living room, reading stories, and watching their imagination at play.

In our free time, we enjoy going to local theme parks like Disney and Universal Studios. We're also huge fans of the NASA Kennedy Space Center. It's fascinating to learn about space and see the history of exploration.

Supporting our local sports teams is another favorite pastime. We both grew up going to games with our families and want to share that experience with our kid(s). Whether it's hockey, football, soccer or baseball, we love the excitement and energy. It's not just about the sport; it's about being part of something and enjoying exciting moments together.

We're also big fans of outdoor activities. Hiking and biking on nature trails allow us to get out and explore while getting some fresh air. It's a great way to relax and appreciate nature.

These outings offer us a fun way to relax and spend quality time together with each other. However, we usually don't go alone. We often bring our families or meetup with friends and their kids. It turns every visit to a park or a game into a shared experience.

Adopting our dogs has brought us a lot of joy. Maddie and Darla are complete opposites but share a strong bond as best friends. Maddie is adventurous and loves exploring, while Darla is a cuddle bug who enjoys snuggling with us. Both of them are sweet, playful and loving, and their comforting snuggles are the best stress-busters. They have taught us the importance of patience and taking things slow. Having them around is a great way to break the ice and meet new people. We love taking them with us on trips as they have a blast. They are both very affectionate and gentle with kids, making them a great companion for children. They will provide lots of love and interaction, and they're always excited for the extra food that comes from being around young children.

We have a nice home located in a quiet suburb in central Florida. Our house is perfect for hosting family and friends, and there is plenty of room for a child. We have a loft area that will be a great playroom, as well as a spacious yard that is fenced in for play and a pool. We chose this neighborhood because it is an ideal place to raise a family. It is a safe, close-knit community where everyone knows and looks out for one another. The neighborhood offers bike trails, a lap pool, a splash pad, playgrounds, and athletic fields for families to enjoy. We are excited to be able to walk our child to elementary school every day, and there are plenty of children who grow up here together. The neighborhood hosts many family-friendly events throughout the year, such as movie nights, holiday parades, and seasonal festivals with food and games for kids.

Family is an important part of our lives, and we cherish our close relationships with both sides of our families. Our parents live just a few hours away, and we make a point of bringing everyone together as often as possible. We love to share meals and play games with our loved ones. They have been incredibly supportive of our adoption plan, and we can't wait to see them become grandparents and welcome a child into our family with open arms.

Matt's brother and sister-in-law are our neighbors, and we see them often. We're thrilled to have become aunt and uncle to their growing family, and we look forward to watching our kids play together and create memories, just as we did with our own cousins.

Monica's extended family is large and close-knit, and we always look forward to the big Thanksgiving dinner with all the aunts, uncles, and cousins. Another family tradition is to grab sub sandwiches and head to the beach to watch the sunset whenever someone comes to visit.

We firmly believe that family is the cornerstone of a happy and fulfilling life, and we feel so blessed to have such wonderful and supportive families to share ours with.

We're Matt and Monica. After dating for several years, we got married in 2021. Our relationship is built on mutual encouragement and a love for trying new things. We always look for ways to have fun together, whether exploring new places or trying a new hobby. We support each other and try to make the most of every day.
