Adam & Megan
As a family who has grown through the gift of adoption, we are deeply thankful for your choice to share in that gift! Our family is excited to offer a glimpse of our life with you as we learn about you and your story. We have so much love, support, adventure, and laughter to share and we look forward to being a partner with you as you travel along your journey.
A Note From Evelyn's Birth Mom
My adoption story is an amazing one straight from GOD! I give a lot of credit to Megan and Adam for their love, thoughtfulness, compassion and support through the hardest decision of my life. It was the hardest but also the best! Evelyn will have the best life imaginable thanks to Megan and Adam. When you select this fabulous couple to raise your child, I promise you won't ever regret it! You call the shots! From amount of contact that you want to pictures and visits. There is never any pressure from this amazing couple, just grateful that you chose them to raise your baby! I found out I was pregnant the day before I got off parole in Feb 2019. I could barely support myself, let alone raise a baby. Staying in a friend's room, no car, no money… Definitely not in the position to have a baby. I was literally pregnant and in a homeless shelter in downtown Kansas City, Missouri when I realized I could never raise my child like this. When I first looked at their profile I was 100% sure that they were and are the couple that just needed my baby to complete their life. A beautiful home in Colorado, 2 dogs, each has their own successful career. Picture perfect, just missing a baby. God blessed me with a baby to make their wish come true. Evelyn means "child wished for" they wished for a baby for a long time and I granted that wish. Being born of mixed race it was extremely important to me that Evelyn "fit in." Megan and Adam have lots of mixed kids/cousins in their family. I made a deal to take care of Evelyn while she was in my stomach, but once she was born it was Megan's job. She was even my support person in the hospital. I just can't say how much I appreciated having her there and helping me with everything. Nothing about this decision is an easy one but I would do it again with this couple! Words can't even express the amount of gratitude and love I have for them. I love my daughter with my life and I chose to give her the best life possible! I did that for her and you can do that for your child too!
Love, Meghan (Evelyn's birth mom)
Our Lifestyle
Living in Colorado helps us to live a lifestyle that we LOVE! Spending time outdoors, whether it be in our own backyard, our neighborhood, or in the Rocky Mountains, is incredibly important to us. We are fortunate to have so many great trails, lakes, rivers, and camping spots just a short drive away.
In the summers, we enjoy camping in our travel trailer, though it is hard to call it camping when we have a full kitchen and even an electric fireplace. Even though we may be visiting small towns and the mountains through Colorado, we do it in comfort.
We also enjoy spending time by the water. Whether we are travelling to local lakes for paddle boarding, lounging by beaches in other states, or even other countries, we love to spend time by the water.
Cooking is also incredibly important to us, we ensure that it is a part of our daily life, and that we participate together as a family. Adam can usually be found grilling up something delicious or firing personal pizzas, while Megan is busy with sides or preparing meals for the friends and family that we host. Even Evelyn gets involved, though she typically is found mixing up desserts or cooking in her play kitchen nearby.
Overall, our lifestyle allows us to be adventurous as well as ensure that we spend time together doing the things that are important to us, which is spending time with each other and our close friends and family.
Our Adventures
We have been on many grand adventures together! Traveling and experiencing new things and cultures is important to us. As our family has grown, we haven't let that slow us down!
We have been skiing in Colorado, enjoyed beaches in the Carolinas, Florida, and Alabama, played tourists in Seattle and NYC, gone whale watching in California, and visited family in Texas and Arizona. We also travel internationally to include the beaches of Mexico, Belize, and Costa Rica, the lakes of Canada, and the Christmas Markets in Holland, Germany, France, and Switzerland. Needless to say- we LOVE ADVENTURE!
Of all of these grand adventures, we each have a favorite.
Megan's favorite is taking our daughter to Disneyland the first time. We were able to experience snow on Main Street, churros, princesses, lots of rides, and grand Christmas decorations around the park.
Adam's favorite is the trip to Costa Rica that we took for our honeymoon. We spent 10 days experiencing ziplining over the jungle, white water rafting, repelling down waterfalls, seeing an active volcano, swimming in hot springs, and visiting the beaches. It was a beautiful place that we would love to visit again someday.
We look forward to showing Evie and a future sibling how beautiful and grand the world around us is.

Our House and Neighborhood
We live in beautiful Colorado and are within a short drive to hiking trails, skiing and snowboarding, lakes, and amazing camping spots.
We recently built our home and created a space that we knew we could raise our family in. We were drawn to the neighborhood when we were choosing our home, as it is the perfect place for a family to grow. Adam's parents, as well as his brother and sister-in-law along with their two kids, live in a 3 mile radius! Our neighborhood is comprised of couples and individuals of all ages with many families and children that our child will grow up with.
Our home is 5 bedrooms with a large living room as well as a loft that we dedicated as a playroom. The kitchen is the most loved room in the home as it is truly the heart of the space. With views to the back yard, dining room and living room, the kitchen is perfect for family gatherings and cooking meals together. Evie has a play kitchen nearby where she "helps" cook meals (usually ice cream).
We both wanted to create a yard that would be an inviting space for everyone. It has a fire pit for making s'mores, outdoor lights for evening play, flowers, plants, trees, along with a playset and trampoline for the kiddos. It is a cozy and playful space that is loved.
Our Extended Families
We love spending time with friends and family and will continue to do so as our family grows. We believe it takes a village, and our village is strong and loving!
Megan grew up in Texas and Arizona, her parents and sisters still live in Texas, and she has extended family still in Arizona. Adam also has immediate and extended family in Arizona who we try to visit often.
With siblings on each side of our family, we make it a focus to raise our daughter with her cousins (currently there are 7 cousins), but also love the idea of growing with siblings and hope to continue to grow our family. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, camping, hosting dinner and get-togethers at home, and traveling. When we have friends and family around, we love to play games, spend time in the yard (Megan loves making smore's by the fire and Adam enjoys making homemade pizzas in the pizza oven while Evie plays on her playset or trampoline), or time at the neighborhood pool when the weather permits. We can truly have a great time doing anything with our family.
Our friends and family are VERY excited and accepting of our plan to grow our family again through the gift of adoption. With a future loving big sister, friends that have children for our child to play with, and cousins to grow up with, our group is warm and accepting and ready to expand our family.
From Us to You
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We would like to commend you for the strength, courage, and loving spirit in making a plan for adoption. As a returning adoptive family, we have an even more comprehensive understanding of how we can provide encouragement and support along your journey. At all times through this experience, we want you to know that you are important, valued, and loved for your decision to allow us to be considered as Mom and Dad.
We know, as you likely do, that life doesn't always go as planned. After attempting to get pregnant on our own for 7 years, we realized that the universe had other plans in store for us. Our daughter, Evelyn was a beautiful gift brought to us through adoption and we are excited for the potential opportunity to make her a big sister and share the adoption journey now with her as well. We are excited for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption once again, and hope that this heavy decision which weighs on your heart can be eased by knowing that your child will be loved unconditionally, accepted, and always taken care of. We will celebrate adoption and your child will always know the immense love that you have for them. We look forward to potentially being a part of your story and raising your child to know this part of the story that creates who they are.
We met 15 years ago in a small town in Arizona. After recently leaving long-term relationships, neither one of us were looking for anything serious at the time. The universe had other plans because we quickly fell in love and chose to see where that took us. We bonded over our love of friends and family, movies and music, cooking together, traveling, and quiet nights at home. We have now been married 11 years. As in all relationships, we have experienced highs and lows but have always remained focused on learning and growing together, which is important to us and for a strong foundation. We celebrate each other's successes, lift each other up in times of struggle, practice patience, love, and forgiveness. We plan to teach a child those same traits. We are confident that the next chapter in our book of life includes "completing" our family and are excited for what the future holds.
Though each of our families are small, they are filled with love and support. Our lives include friends that are more like family and we plan to continue to cherish these deep relationships as our immediate family grows. We look forward to our child being raised with friends and cousins, furry four-legged friends, a loving and kind big sister who is excited to share her love as well.
We believe that understanding and knowing that your child is healthy and happy is important for your healing and well-being after adoption. With that said, we want you to know that we are happy to meet with you prior to birth and will continue to send pictures and letters or emails that outline the growth and love your child has experienced. From the bottom of our heart, we will always want you to know that your child will be loved, supported, and will be the missing piece of our family that we have been searching for.
Hopefully this has provided a snapshot of where our hearts are and how thankful we are that you are considering us. We believe that you are making the ultimate loving sacrifice by making a plan for both you and your child. While we cannot understand all of the complex emotions that you are going through, we want you to know that you are not walking through it alone.
With love,
Adam & Megan
