Our priority in life is family. We enjoy spending as much time with family as possible. We often go to Kaitlyn's parents' house for family cookouts and to enjoy meals together. We really love having family game nights where we play Yahtzee, Sorry, Uno and other card games. We also visit Jarred's family often and enjoy spending time with them in Jarred's hometown.

We enjoy and cherish our family traditions such as spending Christmas by the fireplace while opening gifts together, singing Christmas songs while Kaitlyn's dad plays the piano, enjoying meals together for holidays, annual family vacations and camping trips, and family games nights.

Our time spent with family is truly a gift and we cannot wait to bring a child into all of our memorable family traditions. Both of our families have instilled in us the importance and value of family and we plan to continue that with a family of our own.

Kaitlyn is determined and never gives up. Kaitlyn is very empathetic, compassionate, nurturing and caring. She loves helping children in her everyday life as a school social worker. She works hard and is very organized. Kaitlyn enjoys cooking and likes finding new recipes to try, especially if it's something she can make in the crock pot. Kaitlyn loves planting flowers every Spring. Kaitlyn knows American Sign Language and is excited to teach a child sign language from a young age.

Jarred is very compassionate and caring. He works hard and is strong both emotionally and physically. Jarred has a quiet strength. He has a great sense of humor and enjoys making people laugh. Jarred is competitive (but not too competitive) and enjoys playing games with family and friends. Jarred is athletic and is knowledgeable about sports; he is excited to share these skills and knowledge with a child someday.

We have always wanted to be parents and truly value having a family. We have created a family with each other and our dog Claire, but are ready to become a mom and dad. We have been married for six years and struggled with infertility for nearly five years. Throughout our journey with infertility we became even stronger, both individually and as a couple, as we battled the ups and downs and the painfully difficult emotional rollercoaster that fertility treatment entails knowing that more than anything else we wanted to have a family of our own. During our infertility journey we began to discuss adoption as a way to build our family and made the decision to no longer pursue medical intervention and to adopt a child. We truly believe that adoption is a gift that we are blessed to be a part of. We believe that becoming a parent is more than just biology. We have so much love to give to a child and are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to become parents. We believe that parenthood is the most import role that we will ever have and we will cherish every moment.

We live in a wonderful, growing community in Southern Wisconsin. We live near several young families that have children and our neighborhood will be a wonderful place for a child to grow up!

We live in a ranch-style home with four bedrooms, one of which we look forward to making into a cute and cozy nursery. We have a large rec room in the finished basement that will be perfect to add a large play area for toys and games. We love spending time in our comfy living room, especially with the fireplace on during the winter months. We have a deck and large backyard where a play set will be a perfect addition.

We live less than a mile from a great elementary school. Kaitlyn works in the local school district and is very excited for a child to attend the school in our neighborhood.

Our community is very family friendly. There is an annual festival every summer that includes carnival games and rides for children. There are events at the local library and other community programs. We have a community pool less than 10 minutes away from our home. We also have a bike path within a few blocks of our home along with a beautiful park.

We are extremely close to our immediate families and enjoy all of our time spent together.

Kaitlyn's parents, Scott and Debbie, live less than 15 minutes away. Kaitlyn has an older brother, Nick, who is a paramedic and firefighter. Nick and his fiancé, Angie, live less than 20 minutes away. We enjoy our family vacations with Kaitlyn's immediate and extended family. We go on a trip to Northern Wisconsin every summer where we go on boat rides, tubing, skiing, and spend time outside in nature. We also enjoy our summer camping trips and our annual trip to Door County with family. Kaitlyn's dad has been in a local band since he was 17 years old and they continue to play at local events. We watch the band perform on a regular basis and music is a big part of her family.

Jarred's parents are Carol and Bob. Carol and her husband, Rick, live about two hours away. Bob also lives about two hours away. Jarred has an older sister, Ashley, who lives about two hours away as well. We go on trips to visit Jarred's family on a regular basis and enjoy visiting the zoo, playing board games, and watching movies.

Our time spent with family is filled with love and laughter. Our families are very excited about our plans to adopt a child. Our parents can't wait to become grandparents and our siblings are excited to be aunts and uncles.

We met after graduating college through mutual friends 10 years ago and have been together ever since. We have been married for 6 years and have always known we wanted to have children. We struggled with infertility for nearly 5 years and we are unable to conceive biological children. Our road to creating a family has only made our relationship and bond as partners stronger. After going through our journey with infertility we knew that adoption was the way to build our family. We believe that adoption is truly a gift and are looking forward to having the honor of being called "parents". Being a mom and dad is something that we want more than anything, as family is the most important thing to us. We cannot wait to share our love and life with a child.

We are very excited for what the future holds for us. We love the life that we have built together as husband and wife over the past 6 years and we are ready to share our lives with a child. We look forward to not only all of the big moments and life events with a child, but also the small ones. We are excited for the everyday moments with a child, like making breakfast, going on bike rides, having family movie nights, and playing games. We value family, education, love, kindness, and laughter in our family.

Our families are very involved in our life. They are all beyond excited to welcome a new family member. Our families have been, and continue to be, our biggest supporters. Our extended family members have young children that will be so excited to have another cousin to grow up with.

We will share your child's life and experiences with you through photos, letters, and emails if desired. We will create a Lifebook for a child so that they know their adoption story. We make the commitment that we will always speak highly of you. We will always honor and respect you for your choice and we will be eternally grateful for our greatest blessing.
