Adoption in Las Vegas
Las Vegas Adoption Agencies, Lawyers and More
When researching Las Vegas, most of what you find probably isn’t going to be about adoption. But, if you live here and want to pursue adoption in Nevada, finding the right professional can make all the difference.
As a national adoption agency, American Adoptions understand that not a lot of adoption resources are localized, and it can be tough to find reliable professionals near you. To make it less difficult, we’ve compiled the following list of Las Vegas adoption resources that might be useful to you as you consider your unplanned pregnancy options or attempt to grow your family.

Las Vegas Adoption Agencies
As we said above, we’re a national adoption agency. We help everyone in the adoptive triad — birth parents, adoptive parents, and adopted children — both before and after an adoption takes place. And, as a national agency, we have the ability to provide both birth parents and adoptive families access to more services, more adoption opportunities, more accurate cost estimates and decreased wait times.
However, if for some reason you’re interested in pursuing adoption with another professional, you do have a few other options in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Adoption Attorneys
No matter what adoption professional you work with, the adoption process will necessitate the use of an attorney. If you work with American Adoptions, you’ll be provided with a trusted adoption attorney. If you don’t, however, you may consider working with:
Las Vegas Foster Care Professionals
At American Adoptions, we work to complete families via private domestic adoptions, and we’re passionate about doing so. However, this doesn’t mean we don’t believe in adopting from foster care, as well. If you’re interested in foster parenting or adopting from foster care in Las Vegas, consider working with the following professionals:
Las Vegas Adoption Home Study Providers
In every adoption, a home study is one of the first steps to finding your child. A home study provider will interview you, inspect your home and perform background checks to make sure you are indeed ready to add another family member. In Las Vegas, a few trusted home study providers are:
Las Vegas International Adoption Agencies
At American Adoptions, we don’t work to complete adoptions from different countries. If this is something you’re interested in, you might consider reaching out to Nightlight Christian Adoptions.
Las Vegas Hospitals
As a prospective birth mother, you get to decide everything about your hospital stay. You get to choose all of the standard details of a birth plan, like which location you’d prefer to give birth in and how you want that process to go, but you’ll also work with your adoption specialist to be more detailed. Do you want the adoptive parents in the room when you give birth? Do you want time alone with your baby? These are questions you’ll consider and include in your hospital plan.
If you’re traveling to the area to adopt from a pregnant woman who lives in Las Vegas, she may choose one of the following locations in which to give birth. If she’s okay with pictures being taken at the hospital, don’t forget to bring a camera!
Las Vegas Courts
For families who are adopting in Las Vegas, your finalization hearing with a judge will take place in the Clark County District Court.
Las Vegas Tourist Attractions
Naturally, Las Vegas itself is a huge tourist attraction. Don’t hesitate to take advantage of that if you’re traveling to the city to adopt!
