Have a little ghost or goblin ready for this year’s trick-or-treat festivities? We want to see them!
Yes, it’s that time of year again — our annual Halloween Photo Contest. Seeing your kiddos all dressed up is one of our staff’s favorite parts of working at American Adoptions, and we can’t wait to check out the creative costumes you all have come up with.
Starting today, you can send us your photo submissions for this year’s contest. Our contest is open to all who have worked with our agency to build their families or place their children for adoption. Winners will be announced in a few weeks on our blog and social media accounts.
Here’s how to enter:
- Email your favorite Halloween photo of you (birth parent) or your child(ren) to editors@americanadoptions.com. One photo per family, please!
- Title your email as “Photo Contest.”
- In the body of the email, please include your name, your children’s name(s) and ages. Example: John Smith, Age 2 – Parents: Robert and Jane Smith. You can also include a description of the photo, such as what your child is dressed up as.
Submissions are due at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
Once all submissions have been received, the photos will be posted in an album on our Facebook page for you and all of your friends to vote on. Simply “like” your favorite photo to vote (you can vote for more than one!), but comments and shares will not be counted.
Voting will close at 5 p.m. CST on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Winners will be announced the next day. Photos will also be featured on our Instagram page and in our American Adoptions newsletter.
We can’t wait to see all of our agency alums in their costumes. Good luck!
