In honor of National Adoption Day, we wanted to share some of 2017’s adoption statistics from American Adoptions.
Since 2007, 124 birth parents have received scholarships through American Adoptions to pursue college or post-graduate degrees.
The American Adoptions staff have 218 combined years of adoption experience.
99 families attended our annual picnics this year.
In 2017, 3,012 packages have been sent through American Adoptions as birth and adoptive families continue to stay a part of each other’s’ lives.
In 2017, 92 families who’d previously adopted through American Adoptions have returned to adopt again. 45 are active and waiting, 25 have applied but are not active, and 22 have successfully adopted this year.
